At the airport...

Security was a breeze for me, but Chris' nipple ring prompted the female security agent to call for a male guard. Reminds me of the Family Guy line "I need an adult! I need an adult!"

Breakfast at the airport was only $8.50...not bad for a western omelet with Cheddar on a bagel and a bottled water.

We're just sitting here at Gate 163 waiting to see if I got the seats I wanted. More later when we're in Vegas!
Note: The pic is nowhere near as dramatic as our gate, but I can't upload a photo right now from the camera. The edge of the sky is starting to turn salmon pink...

...all the spontaneity of a missile launch.

That's a quote from Erma Bombeck, who described travel plans as having all the spontaneity of a NASA launch. Fair enough.

Chris has yet to pack; I've had Mom's assistance in packing - thankfully. I spent the day getting a new CPAP mask, books, various travel gizmos, and luggage tags.

Tonight I'm off to Chris' place to spend the night. At 4:00am or so we'll get up for the long taxi to the airport...
